LAB / 2022–2023
What actually helped
me perform?
I was looking for small performance edges: how to train hard without letting recovery fall behind. I tracked what I did, how I felt, and what changed by the next session.
01 / THE FULL RECORD
Start with what’s there.
Each column is a calendar day; each row is a numeric field. Color shows position within that field’s own range. Gray cells are missing. Explore an individual value by hovering or tapping.
Choose a cell to inspect its original value.
Numeric fields only. Each row uses its own scale; colors cannot be compared as shared units. Text, timestamps, and boolean fields are excluded from this view.
02 / ONE SIGNAL AT A TIME
Keep the gaps visible.
Read the selected data as a table
03 / TWO MEASURES
Look for a relationship.
Compare same-day observations. Each point is a date with both values present. A pattern here is a question to investigate, not evidence that one measure caused the other.
Read paired observations as a table
05 / SOURCE & METHOD
Source data and method.
This is one athlete’s 2022–23 record, not a controlled study. The patterns describe my experience; they do not establish cause or apply to every athlete.
Blank values and missing dates stay missing. Next-day comparisons use calendar dates.
Measures come from different devices and scales. HRV, sleep, Strain, RPE, and self-ratings are not interchangeable; undocumented units remain source values.
